Please join us Wednesday, February 22 at 7:00 PM for an evening of intellectual dialogue and discussion as Fr. Andrew Wawrzyn presents an overview and anthropological understanding of Saint John Paul II’s Theology of the Body. In addition to the overview, Father will also highlight points on practical application with encouraged small-group discussion to follow. Enliven Your Marriage!

Make this your Lenten mission!  Enliven Your Marriage, an afternoon interactive workshop for married couples designed to improve your communication skills, enhance your relationship, and strengthen the bond with your spouse. Our workshop will provide you with research-based tools that ensure couples have a healthy foundation for a long-lasting marriage. The workshop will be facilitated by Amy M. Berrafato, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist of Enliven Chicago.

The workshop is $65 per couple for 3 1/2 hours, which includes lunch. Register online here by March 1, Ash Wednesday.

Please note: Childcare is available to St. Alphonsus parishioners and AACA parents for children 3 years and older, but spaces are limited. The cost is $15/child and includes care for 3 1/2 hours, which includes lunch. Register for childcare here.

Men and Women’s Faith Sharing Small Groups

Looking to deepen your faith and grow in community? Building off of the 6 groups already active, we will launch additional faith sharing small groups that will meet regularly to pray together, read Scripture, share faith, and discuss what is happening in our lives and in the world around us.  Please fill out the information form (it only takes 30 seconds!) and we will do our best to join you with others and start a group!

The Benefactors’ Club is a fun way to try your chances, as well as raise money for the parish. Memberships are only $100 (and $75 for each additional one). Every 2 weeks, a $250 winner will drawn. Looking for a place of fellowship, an opportunity to share with other Moms, a means to nurture your sense of community?  This would be MOMS in Fellowship. Moms with children of all ages come together for discussion and spiritual exploration. MOMS in Fellowship continues Tuesdays at 10:30 AM in the parish offices. Children are welcome to attend.
