St. Alphonsus’ annual Friday Lenten Fish Fries, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, are wonderful events that are not only a fundraiser for our community’s charities, but a way to bring our Parish and neighborhood together for some good food, drinks, and cheer!

  • Friday, March 31st
  • Featuring the Trinity Irish Dancer Troupe at 7:00 PM
  • Time: 6:00 PM- 9:00 PM
  • Cost: $12 for adults. $6 for kids 3-12.  Free for 2 and under.
  • Menu: Fried Beer Battered Cod, Chips, Mac & Cheese, and Coleslaw
  • BYOB Alcohol only.  (Non alcoholic drinks and desserts will be for sale by our Academy students)
  • Special Notes: Games and Events for kids each night

The planning and organization is headed by our Knights of Columbus Fish Fry committee, but we also depend on many volunteers from our Parish and community to assist. Please visit for more information on the event and to volunteer!

Benefit supporting Aid For Women

Looking for a little basketball to celebrate March Madness?  Sign up for the 2nd Annual Half-court 3×3 YAMboree to benefit Aid for Women!  The tournament will take place on Saturday, March 25th from 12:00 PM- 5:00 PM in the St. Al’s gym, and all are welcome to join us after at The Diag to watch the NCAA Tournament Elite Eight games. There will be a men’s and women’s bracket and you can sign up as an individual or a team. Every team is guaranteed to play at least two games. The tournament costs $20 a person and proceeds will go directly to Aid for Women ($5 for fans for drinks and refreshments). Looking to deepen your faith and grow in community? Building off of the 6 groups already active, we will launch additional faith sharing small groups that will meet regularly to pray together, read Scripture, share faith, and discuss what is happening in our lives and in the world around us.  Please fill out the information form (it only takes 30 seconds!) and we will do our best to join you with others and start a group!

Looking for a place of fellowship, an opportunity to share with other Moms, a means to nurture your sense of community?  This would be MOMS in Fellowship. Moms with children of all ages come together for discussion and spiritual exploration. MOMS in Fellowship continues Tuesdays at 10:30 AM in the parish offices. Children are welcome to attend.
