The Knights of Columbus is the largest fraternal order for Catholic men in the world, and is the world’s largest catholic fraternal service organization.
Youth Ministry at St. Alphonsus is an important part of faith and community formation. This ministry is geared toward youth ranging from sixth through the twelfth grades of the parish.
The Babies and Tots group meet on pre-determined Fridays from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM in the Tots room in the school. The group is a great way to meet other parents and children within the parish.
The Young At Heart group is for adults aged 55 and over. The group meets monthly for social or spiritual gatherings.
St. Alphonsus has sponsored Boy Scout troops since 1922, holding one of the oldest Scouting charters in the United States.
The St. Vincent de Paul Society administers the funds collected in the parish poor boxes and at the Holy Thursday collection.
Ministers of Care are trained parishioners who bring communion and companionship to those who are housebound due to illness or accident, in the hospital or to new mothers who are unable to come to church.
